Dr. Jung Kim has investigated different dimensions of health care in his education, work, and research. He has received grants and performed research to explore the roles of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine as complementary or alternative medical (CAM) treatment for conditions such as cancer and HIV. Other aspects of Dr. Kim’s work include investigating the mind-body connection to healing; use of botanical products among HIV positive patients; and innovations in medical education residency programs, analysis of email communication among medical students, and new learning strategies for medical education.
