Dr. Claudia Steiner is an internist who has served as an assistant professor of medicine at Johns Hopkins Medicine. Dr. Steiner has supported the Healthcare Cost and Utilization Project (HCUP) at the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ, DHHS) through aiding with the design, implementation and dissemination of data, internet query tools, and software resources. She also participated in creating statistical briefs, technical reports, fact books, and research notes for HCUP. Dr. Steiner’s written and online work focuses on public health concerns such as women’s health, impact vaccination on population health, impact of medical technology and effect of public policy on health outcomes.
